Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply when you use Bearmor Security, buy PRO, subscribe to Hands-On Care, or order one-off cleanup, design or development from Bearz OÜ. A written quote, order confirmation or service description can add project-specific terms. If there is a conflict, the agreed project-specific scope controls for that work.

Bearmor Security Free and PRO

The free plugin is licensed under the terms distributed with the WordPress.org package. PRO provides access to paid monitoring and analysis while the subscription is active. PRO costs 9€ per month or 99€ per year, excluding VAT where applicable, and renews through Stripe until cancelled.

Failed renewal may be retried up to three times over seven days. If payment is not completed, paid access can end and the site returns to the currently available free feature set. Priority email support means a response target during business days, not guaranteed 24/7 incident response.

Hands-On Care

Hands-On Care is monthly WordPress maintenance at the quoted rate. The agreed scope can include core, theme and plugin updates, backups, monitoring, update-related fixes and small content changes. WooCommerce plans add shop and gateway checks. Care is provided during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00 CET, unless the quote says otherwise.

If a covered site is hacked while the plan is active, cleanup is included. Cleanup covers the affected WordPress installation and reasonable investigation of the likely entry point. It does not guarantee that historic evidence can identify an exact attacker or route, and it does not cover unrelated server/account compromises or third-party systems unless agreed.

One-off cleanup

A one-off cleanup is quoted after we see the site and symptoms. The scope can include a snapshot, infection map, core replacement, repository-plugin replacement, manual theme or premium-plugin review, database cleaning, hardening, a report and three months of Bearmor PRO. Licensed software, host-level remediation and work outside the quoted WordPress installation can require a separate decision or quote.

Website, shop, SEO and design work

One-off development is delivered to the agreed brief. Starting prices describe simple projects, not every possible integration. Add-ons, premium licenses, product entry, payment gateways, shipping, languages, migrations, copywriting and third-party services are included only when the quote says so.

After full payment, the client owns the custom website files and content created for the project, excluding third-party software, fonts, stock assets, open-source components and Bearmor tools that remain under their own licenses. The client keeps the domain and WordPress administrator access.

Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, lawful content, timely feedback, required licenses and access needed for the work. Keep an authorised contact available for decisions. Do not use the plugin or services to attack, monitor or access systems without permission.

You are responsible for the hosting account, domain, third-party subscriptions and legal compliance of your website unless the written scope assigns a specific task to Bearz OÜ.

Backups and access

We take reasonable precautions before risky work, but you should also maintain host-level backups and recovery access. Credentials must be shared through the agreed method. We may disable or remove our access after the service ends.

Third-party services

WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins, themes, hosting, Stripe, OpenAI, WordPress.org, WPVulnerability and other providers operate under their own terms. Bearz OÜ is not responsible for an outage, policy change, vulnerability, rejection or price change controlled by a third party.

Availability and security

No plugin, firewall, scan, maintenance plan or cleanup can guarantee that a site will never be hacked, never go offline or contain no undiscovered issue. Monitoring intervals and scheduled WordPress tasks are approximate. We use reasonable professional care and report known limitations and residual risk.

Cancellation

PRO and care subscriptions can be cancelled for future renewal. Cancellation does not refund a period already supplied unless a mandatory right or the refund section below applies. Access to paid features can continue until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

Bearmor offers a 14-day money-back period for PRO. For agreed one-off services, any refund depends on the work already started, access supplied, third-party costs and deliverables already provided or accepted. Where a consumer asks us to start during a statutory withdrawal period, the amount for work already performed may be deducted as allowed by law. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Liability

Each party is responsible for direct loss caused by its breach or negligence to the extent required by law. Bearz OÜ is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or third-party failure except where such exclusion is prohibited. Any project-specific liability limit should be stated in the quote; nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend a service for non-payment, abusive use, security risk, unlawful activity or missing access that makes the work impossible. Either party may end a one-off project for material breach after a reasonable chance to correct it, subject to payment for work and committed costs up to that point.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Contact security@bearmor.eu first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Consumers may also use the competent consumer-dispute body or court available under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms for future use of the plugin or services. Material subscription changes will be communicated through a reasonable channel before they take effect where required.
