Security is part of WooCommerce development
The store holds customer and order data. Card details normally stay with the payment provider, but WordPress, accounts and checkout still need a secure baseline.
Checked checkout
SSL is configured and the checkout flow is tested. Payment integration depends on the gateway and is confirmed in the quote. This is not a PCI audit.
Lean plugin stack
Every extension is vetted. Fewer plugins means fewer holes and a faster store.

Do I need a payment system to launch?
No. We build catalogue-only shops and quote-request shops. A payment gateway can be added later, including after launch.
Why is security especially important for a shop?
