Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at bearmor.eu, downloading, installing, or using the Bearmor Security WordPress plugin, or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

These terms apply to all users of the plugin, including FREE and PRO license holders, as well as customers of our site cleaning and managed security services.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our plugin or services.

1. Service Description

1.1 Bearmor Security Plugin

Bearmor Security is a WordPress security plugin available in two versions:

• FREE Version: Includes malware scanning, login protection, file integrity monitoring, two-factor authentication, and security hardening features
• PRO Version: Includes all FREE features plus uptime monitoring, deep scanning, smart firewall, AI security analysis, vulnerability scanning, and priority support

1.2 Additional Services

We also offer:

• Site Cleaning Services: Professional malware removal and security restoration
• Managed Security Services: Ongoing security monitoring and maintenance

2. License and Usage Rights

2.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees:

• FREE license: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin on unlimited sites
• PRO license: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PRO features on the number of sites specified in your plan

2.2 License Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the plugin
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the plugin to third parties
• Use the plugin for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share your PRO license key with others

2.3 Open Source Components

The plugin may include open-source components licensed under their respective licenses. Those licenses govern your use of those components.

3. Payments, Billing & Refunds

3.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a PRO license or service, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

3.2 Pricing and Plans

• Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly at the current rate
• Annual Subscription: Billed annually with a discount compared to monthly pricing
• One-Time Services: Site cleaning and custom services are billed once at the agreed price

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Changes do not affect active subscriptions until renewal.

3.3 Automatic Renewal

PRO subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard.

3.4 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

3.5 No Refunds After 14 Days

Refunds are not available after the 14-day period. If you cancel a subscription after this period, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle, but no refund will be issued.

3.6 Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment continues to fail, your PRO license will be downgraded to FREE.

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1 Website Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining strong passwords and securing your WordPress admin accounts
• Keeping WordPress, themes, and other plugins up to date
• Regularly backing up your website
• Reviewing security alerts and taking appropriate action
• Following security best practices

4.2 Compatibility and Testing

You should test the plugin on a staging or development environment before deploying to production, especially when using features like quarantine or firewall blocking.

4.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when purchasing services or contacting support.

4.4 Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the plugin complies with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of service of your hosting provider.

5. Limitations of Liability & Disclaimers

5.1 No Warranty

The plugin and services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5.2 Security Limitations

We do not guarantee that:

• The plugin will detect or prevent all security threats
• Your website will be completely protected from attacks
• The plugin will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All malware will be detected or removed

5.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bearz OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the plugin or services
• Any security breach or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your website or data
• Any bugs, viruses, or malware affecting your site
• Website downtime or performance issues

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5.4 Third-Party Services

The plugin may integrate with or rely on third-party services (e.g., AI providers, vulnerability databases). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these services.

6. Service Availability & Support

6.1 Uptime

While we strive to provide reliable services, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our servers, APIs, or monitoring services. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible.

6.2 Support

• FREE users: Community support via documentation and forums
• PRO users: Priority email support with response within 24 hours during business days

Support does not include custom development, theme/plugin conflicts resolution (unless caused by Bearmor), or general WordPress assistance.

7. Updates and Modifications

7.1 Plugin Updates

We regularly release updates to improve features, fix bugs, and enhance security. You are responsible for keeping the plugin updated. PRO features may require the latest version.

7.2 Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the plugin or services at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

7.3 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or plugin notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Termination

8.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the plugin at any time by deactivating and deleting it. You may cancel your PRO subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

8.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PRO features or services if you:

• Violate these terms
• Use the plugin for illegal activities
• Abuse our services or support
• Engage in fraudulent activity

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, PRO features will be disabled. Data stored on our servers (uptime logs, license info) will be retained according to our Privacy Policy. Local data on your WordPress site remains unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

The Bearmor Security plugin, website content, logos, and branding are owned by Bearz OÜ and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Estonian courts.

10.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

10.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bearz OÜ regarding the use of our plugin and services.
